What to expect from your first session


My goal is to help you find the space to grow your own freedom.

We will start by looking closely at where you are today in your life. Achieving the deepest level of healing first requires that we build a foundation for you to use every day so you have “tools” to help manage day-to-day stressors and struggles.

This is where we begin entering into the holistic framework of therapeutic care.

When we begin our work together, you will find a welcoming, collaborative, and open space where you will neither be pushed nor pressured to share your entire life story until we develop a strong therapeutic alliance.

Instead, we will look at what you believe has contributed to you being here in the first place. After we identify your main concern areas, we can uncover how your life may have been impacted by these factors and create a treatment plan that will allow you to move towards your path to freedom and healing.

The Holistic Approach


Pillars of health

Besides the mental health concerns that led you to seek professional support, we also look at the most important pillars of health and wellness - such as sleep, nutrition, exercise/movement, mindset, and community - and how each contribute to your life by exacerbating or diminishing the problems that we identify as important target areas.

Your thoughts, beliefs, attitudes, traumas, and life experiences directly influence your biology. Similarly, your body is designed to support your mind, so learning how to read your body’s signals is crucial to living a balanced and joyful life. Sadly, most therapists and physicians don't apply this knowledge in their practices, which eliminates the possibility of treating the individual as a whole.

Working together, we will increase your awareness to find the factors that create disruptions, reveal them for what they are (and, of course, what they are not), and surpass them together. This is one powerful example of the value and success my clients find with the holistic approach in a modern therapy practice.

The Process


We will cultivate healing from the inside out to live a healthier, more vibrant life.

Once we have built a solid foundation, we can then use stabilization and stress management strategies to help you navigate through the more challenging and distressing target areas that are making things difficult for you in the present moment. This may include, if relevant and appropriate, adverse life events, psychological traumas, attachment disruptions, and/or anything else that may have had a profound impact on you at any point in your life.


We will cultivate healing from the inside out to get you on the path towards a healthier, more vibrant life using therapeutic approaches and techniques that will help you become the connected, fulfilled person you were meant to be. And through it all, together, we will promote deeper connection, increased wellbeing, and - one of my key parameters of success - greater satisfaction in all of your relationships.
